
IMPORTANT UPDATE
Banksia hotel re-opened our doors on the 1st of June.
Due to new covid-19 restrictions, we will be enforcing strict measures to comply with social distancing rules so we can help stop the spread.
These measures include but are not limited to the following:
- A maximum of 150 patrons in the venue (bar, gaming room, TAB room) at all times.
- Patrons must sign in using appropriate ID as a condition of entry.
- Patrons must sanitise hands upon entry.
- Patrons must adhere to social distancing rules of 1.5m/4m2.
- Patrons must be seated in allocated seating whilst eating and drinking.
Regular hand washing and sanitising is also encouraged with sanitiser available throughout the venue.
Please respect other guests and our staff by following these new measures.
Together, we can all play our part in helping to stop the spread and get back to doing what we love most..sinking a few cold ones down at the favourite local.

Colin Fassnidge returns to his pub pedigree and brings his brand of hearty, seasonally driven fare to By Fassnidge at the Banksia Bistro. Pub bistros are familiar ground for Fassnidge who established his reputation as one of Sydney’s leading Chefs at the Four in Hand, Paddington before opening 4 Fourteen.
Colin delivers an experience close to his much loved Four in Hand pub menu, with pub classics and produce driven dishes, making the Banksia Bistro more family, than fancy diner.
With food fit for our smaller guests and a play area to explore, families are as welcome as everyone else.
